About me

Science: I am a PhD Candidate in Climate Physics and Chemistry in the Department of Earth, Atmospheric and Planetary Sciences at MIT. My current work centers on midlatitude storminess in past, present, and future climates, using a combination of observations, models, and proxies. I am also interested in the cryosphere, and have worked on the dynamics of abrupt climate shifts during glacial climates, the effects of pollution on Himalayan glaciers, and refining mass change estimates of an Icelandic ice cap.

Other stuff: I am a squash player and coach, a musician, a bicycle commuter, a not-frequent-enough reader of books, and a too-frequent reader of news.
